The Combat Veterans of America Motorcycle Club (CVAMC) is composed of military veterans who share a passion for motorcycling.  The objectives of the club are to:

  1. Provide social and recreational activities for members and provide an organized and safe environment to ride.
  2. Raise awareness for veterans and veterans’ issues and support fellow veterans and families during their time of need, e.g., sponsor and participate in activities of a patriotic nature; carry out programs to perpetuate the memory of deceased veterans and members of the Armed Forces of the United States and to comfort their survivors.
  3. Promote the social welfare of the community and support programs of charitable and educational purpose concerning motorcycle safety.
To become a member of the CVAMC, an applicant must be sponsored by a Combat Veteran Member in good standing.  The Sponsor will serve as the applicant’s guide and mentor during Prospect and Probationary Phases.  During the Prospect phase, the Prospective Member will attend rides, events, and portions of meetings with the club as a guest.  The length of the Prospect Phase is at least, but not limited to, three months, during which time the Prospect must attend at least three club meetings and participate in at least three monthly rides/events.  Once eligibility is verified, the acceptability of the Prospective Member will be voted on by the Combat Veteran Members.  If approved, the applicant will begin the Probationary Phase of membership. Probationary Members are authorized to wear CVAMC Colors, but must wear a name tape identifying them as a Probationary Member.  The length of the Probationary Phase is at least, but not limited to, three months, during which time the Probationary Member must attend at least two club meetings and participate in at least two monthly rides/events before being considered for unrestricted membership.
